<body><h1><a name="Zoom"></a>Zoom</h1>The zoom feature of a camera enables taking pictures of distant objects.<br><br>There are two types of zooms:<br><ol><li>Optical Zoom</li><li>Digital Zoom</li></ol>Cameras
have digital or optical zoom features. In digital zoom, pixels of the
image get enlarged and it can result in the loss of image details.
Whereas, in optical zoom, only the physical length of the lens is
changed that magnifies the image before it is recorded as pixels. No
image data loss happens and the picture quality is also better if the
camera has optical zoom feature.<br></body></html>
