Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) is a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lossy_compression">lossy compression</a> method for
images. A lossy compression is mainly preferred for natural images
where minor loss of fidelity doesn&#8217;t affect the quality of the
photograph. The JPEG format reduces the size of the file to about 5% of
